Jan 1, 2003

I want to wish you all a Happy New Year! I hope that 2003 will be a wonderful year for you. :-)

Last night I finished knitting my fuzzyfeet slippers from Theresa's pattern in knitty. I made them out of Briggs and Little Heritage wool, which was supposed to be a little thicker than what was called for, but it worked well. I also used two colours and added some stripes since my feet are quite long. I was a little apprehensive about the felting because I was told this wool can be hard to felt, but three wash cycles and it worked perfectly! I like them, they are nice and cozy and just the ticket to keep my feet warm when it is chilly in here.
