I just finished my Opal Tiger socks! I am quite pleased with the way they turned out. I think these will be a lot of fun to wear. I have two shawls on needles right now. One is a mix of eyelash and another glammer yarn, and the other is for my youngest daughter, out of pale pink Patons Shetland Chunky. This one I am making the pattern up as I knit. I wonder how it will turn out?

I finally have bloggar up and running. Next is to get my FTP program back.

I have been knitting during my "spare" time, and am almost finished my Opal Tiger socks. However, my spare time is really limited these days. I am also signed up for a beginners spinning course starting on Nov. 3. It will cover both the drop spindle and the spinning wheel. I am really looking forward to this, even though it will be during a couple of really hectic weeks for me. I hope I can lose myself in the "zen" of the spinning and just relax and enjoy this time away.
