My green tank top was just not working out very well. I think it would have gone down to my knees if I kept going the way I was, so I pulled out several T-shirts and did some measuring. Then I drew up a plan and worked out what I wanted in the shaping. After a big breath, I ripped back the front which was up to the armhole shaping. Picking up the stitches again just above the end of the lace, I have started re-knitting the front. I am now about halfway through it. Ripping back the back is going to be tougher, but I can rip half the lace back and correct the tiny error that I know is there. I sure hope this all works. This is really the first time I have modified a pattern based this much using measurements from what I know fits, and using guage. Hmmm... maybe swatching has some value. Who knew?

Friday Five (Yikes, it is Friday already?)

1. Do you live in a house, an apartment or a condo? Technically a two bedroom bi-level house, with only one bathroom.

2. Do you rent or own? Between us and the bank, we own. And it is almost paid off!

3. Does anyone else live with you? Oh yeah! Two teenagers ( one boy and one girl...see note about bathroom!), an almost 6 year old girl, my husband, two Siamese cross cats, and the dog. Also 6 fish.

4. How many times have you moved in your life? Far too many!!!! But we have been in this house for the past 14 years.

5. What are your plans for this weekend? My husband is away, so I plan to sleep, knit, and help my oldest two study for their exams. Doesn't that sound exciting? Yeah, but I like it that way. :-)
