The Friday Five (I found this on Kat'nea's Blog)

1. What are your hobbies?
LOL!!! Knitting, crazy quilting, quilting, beading, beadknitting, sewing, being Mom, playing on the computer, reading, yoga, and writing term papers for my son.

2. Do you collect anything? If so, what?
Books! A lot of books! Also yarn, beads, angels and African Violets (for some reason)

3. Is there a hobby you're interested in, but just don't have the time/money to do?
Making lampwork beads, and generally learning to work with glass, silversmithing, spinning and dying my own wool, and even raising alpacas. I know there are more, but these are my current interests.

4. Have you ever turned a hobby into a moneymaking opportunity?
No. It never seems like a hobby then, just work.

5. Besides web-related stuff (burbs, rings, etc.), what clubs do you belong to?
Aside from the anti-social club? None. :-(

Apr 23, 2002

I haven't been missing, honest. I have been trying to get some knitting done, and helping my son with a term paper. I am too old to be researching grade 7 term papers. Especially when he leaves them until the day they are due, so that we have to research and write and proof a paper to hand it before it is any later!

On the bright side, my order from Red Bird Knits arrived today. The pink is perfect for the heels of my clown socks! I now have one about half done, although I put it back away so I can finish the sock I am working on. I end up with way too many WIPs or works in progress, unless I stay focussed. The Regia 5025 is even prettier in person than it is in pictures. My fingers are itching to knit it up. So why am I on the computer?

Have a good day!
