The name of Janet creates a restless, creative nature that takes you into many ventures, but does not allow you to see things through to a satisfactory completion. Yours is a versatile, musical, artistic, but independent nature and you must have the freedom to express your creative ideas and abilities to be happy. An urge for independence causes dissatisfaction and frustration in close relationships and you find the "ties that bind" restricting. The qualities of this name would find a more constructive outlet in work that involves high-pressure selling or promotional activities, possibly in community affairs, for it contains a positive, driving power. It is difficult for you to merge with others; although you have quickness of mind, you lack tolerance and can give way to impatience at another's slowness or shortcomings. If you cannot complete your plans when you wish to do so, you could suffer intense moods of depression and extreme sensitivity in the region of the solar plexus, resulting possibly in ulcers or nervous disorders. This name could take you into bitter experiences through impulsive action. You need more stability to find peace of mind, relaxation and happiness in life.

This is a dreadfully boring looking blog. I think I need to liven it up, and perhaps make it a little more like a place I want to visit. I only hope I don't mess things up in the process.
Yippee!!! I got the comments installed. And I got my title figured out. Now it looks really dull and boring. :-) But the error sign isn't coming up anymore, and I know there is an improvement, so things are looking up.
I feel like I am banging my head against the wall trying to get this working. But I have been given some help. Now if I can only get the HTML to work. LOL!!!! Ok, I know I am dreaming. I think I will give up, add a few more rows onto my new sock and head off to bed.
I finished the socks I was knitting for Maryssa for Easter. They were my own creations. :-) I used the Little Shell pattern from here and a multi-coloured Trekking yarn. Trekking is a yarn that I have a tough time with guage with, however, it worked for these socks. I just didn't knit the heel flap long enough for her.
Last night I finished my fifth pair of socks. These are the March SOTM socks from the Opal sock club. They are a pretty colour combination. Blue and white with purple stripes, and the cuffs slouch down. I was pleased to find that one ball of Opal was enough to make a pair of socks for my big feet! This morning, I just need to kitchner stitch the toes and I can start on my Regia clown socks! I am looking forward to knitting those. The colours look like spring, and since we are getting yet another snowfall, I need all the spring I can get!
